By engaging the services of Kaz Walks Dogs, the client (pet owner) acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Personal Insurance: Kaz carries personal liability insurance while providing dog walking services. This insurance does not extend to the client's pet or any third parties involved in an incident.
Assumption of Risk: Dog walking involves inherent risks including interactions with other animals, people, vehicles, and unpredictable environmental conditions. The client accepts full responsibility for any risks associated with their pet's participation in walking services.
No Assumption of Guilt: Kaz Walks Dogs does not assume liability or guilt for any incident, injury, accident, or altercation involving the client's pet during the walking service — including situations involving other dogs, people, or property. As an independent contractor walking someone else's dog, Kaz cannot be held responsible for the animal's natural behaviors or reactions.
Owner's Responsibility: The pet owner warrants that their dog(s) are up-to-date on all required vaccinations, in good general health, and that any known behavioral issues, bite history, or medical conditions have been disclosed prior to service.
Emergency Care: In the event of a medical emergency, Kaz will make every reasonable effort to contact the owner immediately and seek appropriate care. Any emergency veterinary costs are the sole responsibility of the pet owner.
Independent Contractor: Kaz operates as an independent contractor and small business. All services are provided in good faith with the genuine welfare of your pet as the primary concern.
